Cashew Nuts (Kaju) β 2 tbsp

Roast the Poha:
In a wide pan, dry roast the poha on low heat for 3β4 minutes until crisp. Keep it aside. -
Fry the Nuts:
Heat oil in the same pan. Add peanuts, chana dal, and cashews. Fry until golden brown. Remove and keep aside. -
Prepare the Tadka:
In remaining oil, add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add curry leaves and turmeric powder. Mix well. -
Combine Everything:
Add the roasted poha, fried nuts, and salt to the pan. Mix gently so all ingredients are coated evenly. -
Final Touch:
Sprinkle a pinch of sugar powder (optional) and toss once more. -
Cool & Store:
Allow the chiwda to cool completely, then store in an airtight container. Enjoy with tea during your festive evenings!
