    Shan Dahi Bara Chaat Seasoning Mix helps you prepare authentic tasting Lentil Dumplings for a sub-continental yogurt based snack.


    1. Lentils/Pulses/Wheat/Rice Flour
    2. Salt
    3. Red Chilli
    4. Cumin
    5. Fenugreek Leaves
    6. Black Pepper
    7. Ginger
    8. Garlic
    9. Leavening Agent: Sodium Bicarbonate
    10. Asafoetida
    11. Citric Acid: Acid
    12. Maltodextrin
    13. Hydrolyzed Soy Protein
    14. Cane Sugar
    15. Canola Oil
    16. Anticaking Agent: Silicon Dioxide

    How to Use

    1. Drain water from soaked white lentil and rice. Add baking soda, onion paste, ginger, garlic and Shan Salt. Grind in blender to a coarse batter. Add cilantro/fresh coriander and green chillies in this mixture.
    2. In hot oil, pour tablespoons full of batter separately. Fry on medium heat till golden. Remove and allow to cool.
    3. Refry in hot oil until deep golden. Soak in lukewarm water for 5-10 minutes. Drain the water and gently squeeze the dumplings to remove excess water.
