I was confused about how to open and store it because it is in a tin. But apparently in India it is normal to store ghee outside the fridge and shelf life is not affected - just ensure you use a clean dry spoon always. Amul is apparently one of the popular ghees sold in India. A note on the pure ghee - this ghee is made with a mix of cow's milk and buffalo's milk (the yellow tin is cow's milk only). No need to worry as there is no negative effect on taste.

Top quality product that gives a rich aroma to veggie meals. The only downside is it expires within a year and I usually use mine for about 18 months so I'm gonna have to perhaps freeze a quarter of it but not sure if it will alter the taste 🤔
